Research Assistants

My name is Sophia Stamatopoulou-Robbins (Bard College, NY) and I am an anthropologist looking for research assistants to help me with a film project on bread and bread waste in Palestine. I need one person in Gaza, one in East Jerusalem, and one in the West Bank. Each person should have some experience filming (filming on your phone is fine) and uploading large files to the cloud, access to a phone with a decent camera, and (ideally) an interest in the subjects of bread/food, mutual aid, and waste. An anthropological sensibility is a plus. I anticipate the work required will take roughly 15-25 hours per person. Persons interested in being a part of the film (i.e. on camera) would be ideal. This is a paid position that begins immediately and will extend through summer 2021. Anyone interested should email me directly at sstamato@bard.edu with a description of qualifications and interest.
